Apparently, the Pastor in the above video – who celebrated the Christian Passover this past weekend, correctly calling it the “holiest day of the year” — had been snitched-on for not forcing his congregants to wear masks and social distance inside of the church during the Passover service.
This, of course, quickly brought the cops.
After all, the authorities can’t have any of that non-compliance stuff. You see, worshiping God, unmasked, might just start a trend. And that trend might just start a whole new global pandemic. Darned virus-loving Christians!
Yes, Christians, above all folks, must be forced to mask-up before their God and hide their faces from Him. It’s for everybody’s sake, you see. Apparently, it’s our job as Christians to set ourselves on fire in order to keep the fearful and the unbelieving warm.
But the Pastor, an emigre to Canada from Poland, wasn’t about to put up with it.
When the cops showed up to disrupt his Passover service, he summarily booted them out of his church, boldly commanding them to leave, multiple times, and finally calling them a bunch of “Nazis” and “Gestapo” as they sheepishly turned tail and left his church building.
Listen: You’ve got Christian pastors in this country (USA) who have shut down their churches, entirely, over the phony COVID “pandemic,” and have urged their congregants to “stay home, wear your masks, wash your hands, hunker down, don’t be a rebel.”
You’ve also got Christian pastors who have kept their churches open, but require congregants to hide their faces from God behind a mask, and eschew Christian fellowship with each other by mandating their congregants stay six feet apart, before during and after church services.
I have ZERO respect for these pastors. Absolutely zero.
They are not men or women of God. Not in the least. They are men and women of compliance and compromise with earthly authority, even when that earthly authority goes against God’s Word.
They are compromisers. They are wimps. They are hot house lilies who fold up and wilt and wither at the slightest hint of heat, afraid to take a stand on behalf of the Lord, and afraid to set the right example for the sheep. They won’t even protect the sheep.
In other words, their backbones have already been turned to mush by the sting of the scorpion of Revelation chapter 9, and Satan isn’t even here yet in his role as the false Christ. In short, these pastors have allowed themselves to be spiritually neutered. And in such a state they have no spiritual life-force left.
But this bold Canadian pastor featured in the above video knows how to be a true pastor of the Most High God. He knows his job is to feed, lead, guide (and defend) the sheep, e.g., his flock. Not to compromise with the wolves. As Christ Jesus Himself once stated of the false shepherds who rob his sheep, and then abandon them in time of need:
Joh 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
Joh 10:12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
Joh 10:13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
Joh 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
Joh 10:15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
Jesus was clearly no compromising wimp.
And He knew the difference between a true pastor and a mere hireling who milks the flock for years on end, until he sees the wolves coming, abandons the flock, and flees.
The Pastor in the video was certainly no hireling. He didn’t abandon his flock. He didn’t flee from the wolves. He stood boldly, face-to-face against them, and commanded them out of his church.
He knows we Christians don’t hide our faces from our own God during worship. He knows we’re supposed to reflect God’s glory, and God’s authority, to others, not hide it. And we can’t do that if they have us masked up to the point of unrecognizability, and terrified of fellowshipping with each other, over a virus with a 99% survival rate.
In short, this is my kind of Pastor. The kind with some real starch in his backbone. The kind who has not lost his salt. The kind who, like St. Peter, of old, boldly and publicly proclaimed when told by the authorities to quit preaching, “We ought to obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29).
How about you? Are you going to obey God, or men?
