A self-avowed “Christian” recently took me to task over my commentary “Occult Ritual Transformation and Coronavirus: How Mask Wearing, Hand Washing, ‘Social Separation’ and Lockdowns Are Age-Old Occult Rituals Being Used to Initiate People Into a New Global Order.”

Here’s what he wrote, followed by how I answered him:

Oh dear God! Are you for real? If we look hard enough we can find symbolism in everything and weave a web and connect the dots from here to kingdom come to fit any idea.

“Look, I’m Christian and one of the things God provided all of us is a head on our shoulders along with common sense (for most of us).

“Science is great because whether you believe it or not, it’s true. Masks protect others from you. It’s called being polite and conscientious and also it helps mitigate the spread of the virus if everyone is considerate enough to do it.

“All this bs about rights and whatnot, just put your mask on and be smart. And the social distancing, I don’t know but the further I am from something or someone spewing disease, the safer I feel and wow, the safer everyone is.

“I don’t know why folks have to look into everything. Pandemics have happened since day 1. Much worse in fact. And it’s these states with where folks resisted against following science and public health guidelines that have now put the rest of the country at risk.

“You want your state to open up and be back to normal? Put your damn mask on and practice social distancing.

“If you feel compelled to read and pass along conspiracy theories, be paranoid and get in a little Fox News in between, God bless ya. Just don’t forget he gave you a noggin to think with and oh, wouldn’t Jesus tell you to help one another and do what’s right?

“That would be healthcare for all and the end of this selfish, idiotic and evil president you guys have elected.

“You are the furthest from what a true Christian is or any decent, kind and generous person. Remember we’re not put on this earth to see thru one another, we are put on this earth to see one another through.  Amen.”

Steve’s Reply:

Okay, Christopher, let’s take your little diatribe one statement at a time.  I’ll put an asterisk next to each of your most pertinent statements, and then put my comments below each statement:

* “Oh, dear God! Are you for real?”

Yes, I’m for real. But I’m not dear God.

* “If we look hard enough, we can find symbolism in everything and weave a web and connect the dots from here to kingdom come to fit any idea.”

That’s true. But it doesn’t negate the fact that symbolism is widely used, and codified, by occultists, Kabbalists and others.

In fact, without symbolism the Bible itself wouldn’t make any sense, in many, many cases. For example, the parable of the tares (Matthew 13:24-30) is full of symbolism, which symbols Christ Himself revealed in great detail, in His explanation of the parable (Matthew 13:36-43).

What’s more…

Christ, as the Tree of Life, is a symbolism.

Christ, as the Bread of Life, is a symbolism.

Christ, as the Water of Life, is a symbolism.

Christ, as the Word of God, is a symbolism.

Christ, as the Lamb of God, is a symbolism.

Christ, as the Bridegroom, is a symbolism.

Christ, as the Chief Cornerstone, is a symbolism.

Christ, as the Good Shepherd, is a symbolism.

Christ, as the Light of the World, is a symbolism.

Christ, as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, is a symbolism.

Christ, as the Rock, is a symbolism.

Christ, as the Door, is a symbolism.

Christ, as the True Vine, is a symbolism.

And each of those symbolisms, plus many others, gives us additional valuable insight and understanding into the character and purpose of our Lord Jesus Christ, which we wouldn’t have, without the symbolism.

So, the fact that some folks can find symbolism in anything and everything, does not negate the fact that symbolism plays a huge and important role in the lives of all Christians, and indeed, all people.

Symbolism is widely used by everyone from Christians to occult secret societies. Hence, understanding symbolisms, from both sides (the Godly side, and the enemy side) increases one’s ability to discern right from wrong, truth from deception.

And since Christ said, “Let no man deceive you by any means…” I think we might want to take His statement at face value and make sure we’re not deceived.

Why?  Because overcoming deception is part and parcel of being a Christian, for goodness sakes.

* “Look, I’m Christian and one of the things God provided all of us is a head on our shoulders along with common sense (for most of us).”

So, try using that God-given head on your shoulders for a change, Christopher. It might surprise you, what you’d see.

* “Science is great because whether you believe it or not, it’s true.”

That’s the funniest statement I’ve heard yet today.

Science changes almost 180 degrees about every 20 years.  And today, much of what passes for science is pure conjecture wrapped up in pretty mathematical formulas that are divorced from any semblance of reality.

As the famous scientist Nikola Tesla put it, “Today’s scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality.”

What’s more, you might not realize that the original “science” began with, and as, occultism.  You’d know that if you’d studied history – particularly Biblical history – at all.

More importantly, it was science that brought us the theory of evolution, which now permeates every government indoctrination center (i.e., school), and completely contradicts the Bible (which is the one thing you can actually count on being true).

Science tells us that we “evolved” from tiny amoeba, and are essentially meaningless beings that came about by chance.  God’s Word tells us we’re fearfully and wonderfully created by a beloved and benevolent Creator.

So, you stick with your science. And I’ll stick with my God.

Science brought us the “Big Bang” theory, which is specifically and purposely designed to negate God’s very creation, completely contradicting God’s own words in Genesis chapters 1 and 2.

Indeed, the “Big Bang” theory is designed – by that science you love so much – to make us believe we’re just infinitesimally small and quite accidentally evolved carbon beings living in a supposedly ever-expanding universe, with new stars and suns and planets being “born” every day as the universe expands.

Yet in Genesis, God’s Word clearly states He created the human race and the sun, moon and stars, and that when He was done creating on the sixth day, the creation was finished.  As in completely over with:

Gen 2:1  Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

You do know what “finished” means, don’t you?

So much for science, which tells us we “evolved” from an amoeba and that our universe is still expanding at the “speed of light.”  Right?

Last year, the most prominent examiners of medical science studies in the world (the famous Cochrane Collaboration) stated that half of all medical studies are utter garbage, being either based on false information, misapplied information, or researcher bias. So much for “science” being “true.”

Science also tells us that, in the end, we’re all just “food for worms.”  Yet the Bible tells us that life goes on, everlasting, even after we’re done with our flesh overcoats (if we’re faithful to His Word, of course).

Science brought us “global warming,” which contradicts the Bible (Genesis 8:22).

And scientists from time immemorial have proclaimed that the job of science is to overthrow the Bible.  As scientist John Draper stated:

“The history of Science is not a mere record of isolated discoveries; it is a narrative of the conflict of two contending powers, the expansive force of the human intellect on one side, and the compression arising from traditionary faith and human interests on the other.”

And as science promoter H.L. Mencken stated:

It is the natural tendency of the ignorant to believe what is not true. In order to overcome that tendency, it is not sufficient to exhibit the true; it is also necessary to expose and denounce the false. To admit that the false has any standing in court, that it ought to be handled gently because millions of morons cherish it and thousands of quacks make their livings propagating it—to admit this, as the more fatuous of the reconcilers of science and religion inevitably do, is to abandon a just cause to its enemies, cravenly and without excuse.”

Yes, as Mencken pointed out, science largely considers faith and religion to be the enemy, and people of faith and religion to be “millions of morons.”

As scientist and evolutionist Jerry Coyne has stated:

“As facts become increasingly important for the welfare of our species and our planet, people should see faith for what it is: not a virtue but a defect.”

Scientist Richard Dawkins wrote, in his book, “The God Delusion”:

“The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.”

Dawkins went on to state, “To be fair, much of the Bible is not systematically evil but just plain weird…”  And he also stated, “Faith can be very dangerous, and deliberately to implant it into the vulnerable mind of an innocent child is a grievous wrong.”

Theoretical physicist Steven Hawking has stated:

“One can’t prove that god doesn’t exist, but science makes God unnecessary.”

Physicist Lawrence M. Krauss has written:

The amazing thing is that every atom in your body came from a star that exploded.  And, the atoms in your left hand probably came form a different star than your right hand.  It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics:  You are all stardust.  You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded, because the elements — the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution — weren’t created at the beginning of time.  They were created in the nuclear furnaces of the stars, and the only way they could get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode.  SO, FORGET JESUS.  THE STARS DIED SO THAT YOU COULD BE HERE TODAY.”

TV science communicator Neil deGrasse Tyson (an astrophysicist) has stated:

“The more I look at the universe, the more I’m convinced there’s no God…God is an ever-receding pocket of ignorance.”

Physicist and astronomer Victor Stenger’s wrote the book, “God: The Failed Hypothesis – How Science Shows that god Does Not Exist.”

You see, to all-too-many prominent scientists, God, the Bible and faith are “the enemy” that need to be extinguished.

Yet while declaring yourself a “Christian,” you state “Science is great because whether you believe it or not, it’s true.”

So, you’ve just revealed to us which side you’re really on, haven’t you?  Thanks for taking off your mask for just a moment, so we could see the wolf hiding behind it.

* “Masks protect others from you.”

If I’m not sick, others don’t need to be “protected” from me. And if I am sick, I stay at home. So, what’s the problem? Why do I have to conform to your childish fears and emotional insecurities?

* “It’s called being polite and conscientious and also it helps mitigate the spread of the virus if everyone is considerate enough to do it.”

Ah, the virtue-signaling begins. So suddenly, after 2,000 years of western civilization, with all of its epidemics and plagues, we suddenly now must wear masks, perpetually, to in order to be “polite and conscientious.”

You’re letting the cat out of the bag, brother. It’s not about illness. It’s about conformity.  Global conformity.  And it’s conformity to the very enemies of Christ.  But you probably don’t even know who Christ’s enemies are, do you?

* “All this bs about rights and whatnot, just put your mask on and be smart.”

So, you think our Constitutional rights are “bs”? Please pack your bags and move somewhere more conducive to your true and most heartfelt beliefs. I suggest communist Cuba. It’s closest.

Those rights are what protect you and me from utter tyranny. Christianity is under ruthless attack right now. Don’t you understand that? Your Constitutional rights are all that stand between you and tyrannical government.

* “And the social distancing, I don’t know but the further I am from something or someone spewing disease, the safer I feel and wow, the safer everyone is.”

Ah, yes, I understand now.  It’s all about your feelings. If you feel safe, everyone is safe, right? Poor thing. How can you live with such a fragile mental and emotional outlook?

To you, apparently, everyone without a mask, or not social distancing, is “spewing disease”?

Can’t you see that’s in your own mind? That’s a picture you’ve conjured up for yourself, mentally and emotionally, probably after watching CNN for about 20 minutes, or listening to Dr. Faustus…er…I mean, Fauci.

* “I don’t know why folks have to look into everything.”

Right. Just stay ignorant, and obey, blindly. Correct?

Just believe what they tell you on TV. Looking “into” things might disrupt your comfy little fantasy world in which everyone masks up, carefully walks six feet from each other, washes their hands incessantly while slathering their skin in cancer-causing disinfectant afterwards, and then locks themselves down in utter fear at the slightest scratch in their throat.

What a lovely way to live. Enjoy. Just don’t try to force me into your dystopian fantasy world. I don’t live other folk’s fantasies. I prefer reality. And for me, Christianity is reality.

* “Pandemics have happened since day 1. Much worse in fact.”

Yes, we’ve had sickness and disease since the beginning of time. But we’ve never made the entire planet mask up, walk six feet apart from each other, and lock down entire societies…over a flu virus.

Your point actually negates all of your other points.  Think about it.

* “And it’s these states with where folks resisted against following science and public health guidelines that have now put the rest of the country at risk.”

No, that’s not true, at all. The hardest hit states, in terms of the death rate, have been those that enforced mask-wearing the most fervently and the longest, such as New York and California.

The death rate plummeted in other states. But those that have enforced hardest, have the highest death rate.

You’re getting the infection rate mixed up with the death rate.  Other states that didn’t enforce as heavy-handedly had far higher infection rates, but far lower death rates.  And preventing deaths was the whole point, wasn’t it?  Or does conformity mean more to you than actually saving lives?

In fact, even the CDC now admits, belatedly, that the true death rate from COVID is about 0.14%.  Do you not realize that’s far lower than the death rate from the normal seasonal flu?

* “You want your state to open up and be back to normal? Put your damn mask on and practice social distancing.”

“Normal”? You call masking up, breathing your own carbon dioxide all day long to the point of dizzying breathlessness, and spending your entire day mentally measuring the distance between you and the next person in the store aisle “normal”?

You prove my point regarding how powerful these forced occult rituals actually are. You’ve bought into them hook-line-and-sinker.

* “If you feel compelled to read and pass along conspiracy theories, be paranoid and get in a little Fox News in between, God bless ya. Just don’t forget he gave you a noggin to think with. and oh, wouldn’t Jesus tell you to help one another and do what’s right?”

Ah, yes. Of course. Paranoid. Conspiracy theories. Fox News.

Now you show your true self. Please go join the World Council of Churches, if you haven’t already. They’ll welcome you with open arms. You’re prime material.  And you’ll be in good company with the likes of Jane Fonda and other communists who believe Jesus was a “progressive.”

And yes, Christopher, Jesus would indeed tell us to help one another and do what’s right. That’s why we expose this nonsense, so Christians don’t get so wrapped up in it that they lose sight of their Christianity, as you clearly have.

* “That would be healthcare for all and the end of this selfish, idiotic and evil president you guys have elected. You are the furthest from what a true Christian is or any decent, kind and generous person.”

I see.  So, it’s all about Trump-hatred and getting free “healthcare-for-all.”

Now I get it. You’re a communist, in Christian guise. And you’re angry because the Orange Man didn’t do what you wanted him to do. He didn’t give you freebies.  So, in your rage and internalized anger, you want to force the rest of us Christians, who actually love God and His Word, to march to your authoritarian little tune.

Sorry. Not happening here.

* “You are the furthest from what a true Christian is or any decent, kind and generous person.”

You wouldn’t know a true Christian if one bit you on the nose.  A true Christian doesn’t force his agenda on others.  A true Christian doesn’t whine and snivel about his fellow Christians, and try to force them to conform to behaviors that are truly unbiblical.

As St. Paul stated in Romans 14:4, “Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.”

So, yes, I’ll stand or fall to my heavenly Father.  And He will indeed hold me up, all of the way to the end, because I seek only to do His will, which is to help save His children, not just from sin, but also from the deception which can lead one to sin against God.  And we’re certainly experiencing an astonishing level of deception at this point.

* “Remember we’re not put on this earth to see thru one another, we are put on this earth to see one another through.”

That’s certainly a pithy little aphorism, I’ve got to admit.  But speaking Biblically, it doesn’t hold an ounce of water.

Christ repeatedly emphasized the need to see through others, because the enemy, as He stated, are wolves in sheep’s clothing (kinda like you).

In other words, the enemy looks just like our fellow Christians.  That’s why Christ said we’re to discern our enemy “by his fruits.” In other words, you have to look through the person, to his or her deeds, in order to truly see the person and understand his hidden agenda.

And yes, we’re certainly here to help others through this flesh age. But that includes telling them the truth about what’s happening around them, so they can see through the deception. And that’s precisely what we do here.

Christianity is not about conforming to society.  As St. James clearly stated:

Jas 4:4  Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Christianity is about coming out of the world and conforming to God and His Word.  And that, too, is what we do here.

So, as we draw closer and closer to the time when antichrist will rule this world, we continually work to “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Revelation 18:4).

You see, there are far worse plagues than coronavirus coming.  And a good Christian wants nothing to do with any of them, because the coming plagues are from God, and are designed to punish the wicked, with the “wicked” being defined as those who conform to the world, rather than to God’s Word.

So, in your conformity to this world and its masks and “social distancing” and lockdowns, enjoy your short trip in this flesh life, my friend.

Because after this, short of repentance and some serious change of heart and mind, you’re going to have a miserable existence when you try to get into the Kingdom Wedding, and your Lord and Savior comes to the door and says to you, “I know you not” (Matthew 25:12).
