Israel Marks 70 Years as A Nation

This week Israel celebrated its 70th year anniversary of the country’s May, 1948 founding — an important milestone in Bible prophesy.

Serious Bible students know this as the “planting of the fig tree,” of Matthew chapter 24.  As it’s written:

Mat 24:32  Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

In the above verse Christians are commanded by our Lord and Savior to “learn” the parable of the fig tree.   It’s a parable that goes all of the way back to the Garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve stood before the Lord with fig leaves covering their private parts because of the seduction that had just taken place.

If this subject matter is new to you, consider reading the comprehensive Bible study, A Strange Thing:  Mystery in the Garden. It’s a long read, but well worth your while, I promise.  It will open up the Bible to you like no other study.

Mat 24:33  So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

In other words, when you see the planting of the fig tree take place in the Middle East land of Israel, know that the end of this flesh earth age is near, “even at the doors.”  That planting took place 70 years ago, in May 1948.

Mat 24:34  Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Christ says the generation that witnesses the planting of the fig tree will be the final generation in which all Bible prophesy related to the flesh will be fulfilled.

Mat 24:35  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

By the time it’s all over, we’ll have a rejuvenated heaven and a rejuvenated earth, which will be eternal.  It is written. Therefore it will indeed come to pass in the final generation of this flesh earth age — a generation that’s getting awfully long in the tooth, so to speak.  Meaning it’s quickly nearing it’s end.

Another Prophetic Anniversary Milestone Coming Up

Interestingly, in September of this year Israel and their Arab neighbors celebrate a second anniversary milestone, which is the 40th anniversary of the Camp David Peace Accords.

To see how these two anniversaries – the 70th anniversary of the planting of the fig tree, and the 40th anniversary of the Camp David Peace Accords – fit together in end days prophesy, and what they portend for Trump’s Middle East peace accords, see the short study, Two Prophetic Anniversaries for Israel in 2018.
