Many Christians today have unwittingly yoked themselves to the earthly city of Jerusalem and its inhabitants, believing it to be the “eternal city of God.” Unfortunately, this ill-conceived notion is based almost entirely upon empty religious traditions of man, and not on an accurate understanding of what the Holy Scriptures say about Jerusalem.
