God and Plagues (Then and Now)
God’s in charge of everything. He’s even in charge of plagues, as the Old Testament Egyptians are well aware. That doesn’t mean He causes every plague. Sometimes we cause our own plagues and problems by our tampering with nature, or by failing to obey the Bible health laws the way we should. But the Lord is never-the-less in charge. A plague, regardless of its origin, isn’t going anywhere He doesn’t want it to go. That should comfort you, unless you’re one of God’s enemies…
