In Old Testament Law, any member of the priestly class who had a physical blemish (i.e., missing a body part, such as an eye, a finger, etc.), or anything superfluous (i.e., such as an extra toe, an unnatural growth, etc.) could not approach God’s altar to offer the bread offering.  This was not a punishment.  It was a spiritual “type” demonstrating a specific characteristic that those who teach God’s Word — particularly in the final days of this flesh earth age — must have if they want their work to be pleasing to the Lord and their commission as teachers to be a successful one in God’s eyes.  Unfortunately, there are many spiritually blemished and spiritually superfluous preachers in the world today, who are churning out spiritually blemished and spiritually superfluous congregations.  And in the process, these preachers are risking forfeiture of their place in God’s eternal family kingdom.  Here’s what you need to know to make sure you never fall into that category as you work for the Lord in the closing days of this flesh earth age…
